Regardless of how anyone else defines it, what do you think humanism is?

Humanism

It is the way you treat people
that is important,
and not your belief
or lack of belief
in a specific religion.

To understand a person, you have to talk to that person without belittling that person's opinions or belief system. If you think that your opinions or faith is truer then those of the other person, you will have difficulty listening to what the other person has to say.

For me, humanism is treating every human being as I would want them to tread me. It is knowing that everyone has an opinion on everything and that their opinion does not invalidate my opinion.

My Purpose in Life

What is my purpose in life?
It is to know and love the Divine Creator.
It is to treat every human being with respect,
even if I don't agree with their opinion
or the way they live their life.
