Blog City Prompt: If you could spend happy hours looking at a person's book cases and their grocery carts, you would get a good idea of who they are. Do you agree? Write anything you want about this.

Looking at book cases. Religious books, Jane Austen, Science Fiction, Horror, western, Self Help, books about collections, autobiographies, fictional romance writers can tell you a lot about a person. You will find a variety of books at my house. No horror or western. You will find books about writing, scrapbooking, Jane Austen, fictional romance, Princess Diana, Jackie Kennedy, Dark Shadows, Wizard Of Oz and it is nice to tell a person's interest from their books. Being a writer, we are curious about other people and the books they read.

Groceries. I check to see who has cat and dog food, bird seed, junk food and those who baked goods, fruits, vegetables, eggs and meats. There are those who but TV Dinners like me. I am home a lot during the day and this is what I eat. Baby food, cleaning products, well I notice these things. Book and groceries speak to you without words about who people are. Maybe I should write stories about different people and their groceries. That would be a hoot.

BCOF Prompt: What do you like about May besides flowers?

I like warmer temperatures, Green grass and gentle winds. I enjoy warm temperatures, seeing nature's creatures like ducks and birds. You can go the lake. Fireflies come out. You can have Cook Outs. Seems like people are happier and friendlier in May. I know I am.
