Music Fills the Heart

O, what makes music fill the heart
with Joy that overflows!
The texture of the notes from start
makes happiness that grows.

The symphonies on old LPs
were played to cradle bed,
The pictures from their sound still frees
emotions 'round my head.

Piano turns my sad to Joy
to lift on darkest days,
The keys their greatest hope employ,
when darkness thus betrays.

I sing to share what lives inside
the core of who this man,
He truly would be when outside
of hiding's master plan.

The tuba is the bass of bliss
as richness founding tones.
If one would love a sound to kiss,
then his be Blarney Stone.

For some would think this giant horn
is just an oom - pa - pa,
But well-played grace in his tone borne
doth make a king's "Ah - Ha!"

The organ's wealth be fully piped,
enjoyed by this man's soul,
That Bach hath writ his songs so ripe
have made me wondrous whole.

Now, violin comes full on stage
to bring a dream that lives
That when I read the wealth on page
new Joy my heart it gives.
