Gratitude breaks the spell of Writers Block |
Jamál (Beauty), 6 ‘Aẓamat (Grandeur) 174 Badi - Sunday, May 21, 2017 CE "Incline your ears to the words of this unlettered One, wherewith He summoneth you unto God, the Ever-Abiding. Better is this for you than all the treasures of the earth, could ye but comprehend it."1 Bahá’u’lláh My neighborhood is quite this morning. No one is arguing. I didn't hear gunshots or sirens last night. The day started out on a tranquil note. My next door neighbor hasn't woke up because I haven't heard him making knocking noises this morning. I hope and pray the rest of the day remains calm and tranquil. I know as soon as everyone wakes up there will be some noise, but I hope it won't be arguing or fighting. I have two activities planned for this week. On Monday, I have to pick up my Senior Commodities and on Thursday I have a 9:00 AM appointment with my doctor. I need a refill on my blood pressure medication, so I have to go into her office for a consult. I don't think I have anything else to do this week, but you never know. Something could come up and I would have to take care of it. The car is working now, which is good because I don't have to call Lyft or Paratransit. On Saturday, May 13, I begin a 30-day blog project. The plan is to post to Poet999 - A Butterfly Emerges From Her Cocoon ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Footnotes |
