The Cleansing Tears

The tears of joy and tears of pain
are mixed within my soul again.
Successful we have finished all,
the greater show and curtain call.

But now the time of parting ways
to rest of life that fills our days.
As fam’ly we have been as one,
but now that epoch’s fully done.

We may some day yet play new parts,
but nevermore this set of hearts.
For plays all make one body whole
with parts that reach to common goal.

The greatness of the love we've felt
is shown in depth of grief now tell-t.
We move on to the rest of days
with loss in heart where sadness plays.

Yet friendships made and mem'ries sealed
will give us hearts forever healed.
We can't return to live these shows,
but talent through the future flows.

We cry for wond'rous days now past
that molded this most unique cast.
We thank The Lord for talents toned
and friendships that are newly honed.

The Lion, Witch & Wardrobe told
supremest Truth that's made of gold,
"The traitor's sin is worthy death,
but Savior's Gift is lasting breath."
