We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
A great series of rehearsals on the week of a show's opening brings great confidence to the cast. Yet, Our Town has had it share of drama outside of the theater. If you have been keeping an eye on the weather channel, the Southeast part of the United States has been fraught with some terrific weather in the past couple of days. Our rehearsal was cancelled Monday night due to the potential of tornadoes and certainly high wind speeds. That made last night's tech rehearsal all the more important, especially with the threat of more bad weather overnight and through the day on Wednesday, April 5th. I am praying for safety and for a good rehearsal this evening, since this is scheduled to be the final Dress Rehearsal before we are slated to open tomorrow night on Thursday, April 6th. How great it is to have a show as great as one we have! The actors do their parts quite know this helps the weight to halve. We need that God's great Favor be upon each mouth and mind That when the watchers fully see opinion's will be kind. But more than that we want their joy in watching us to fly, When claps of praise they do employ, great "Bravos" they will cry! Our Town, the show we hope you'll see upon this end of week, And pleased we'd have you all to be, when thoughts to others speak. by Jay O'Toole on April 5th, 2017 |
