On The Last Friday in March

It's the last Friday in March
I'm contemplating April projects
and planning April's focus.


April is poetry's month
thirty days
of writing stanza and line,
but as I contemplate
the goals I've set
I ask myself:
"Have I bitten off
too much this time?"

Only at the end of April
will I know
if I can achieve
my stated goal.
