The Joy of Hope

The Joy of Hope in life ahead
will take my spirit far.
My words impart the things I've said
from Earth to farthest star.

To train my heart on joyful thought
doth focus on the Light.
I learn the things I once was taught
by walking path so bright.

The darkness of the griefs of Earth
may dog my steps betimes,
But life from Heaven by New Birth,
will keep the way sublime.

I may impact the glass of grief
and shatter into tears,
Yet, hope is still my great relief,
when darkness fin'lly clears.

The Joy of Hope in life each day
brings song to even rain,
that when my life is on display
more Glory He will gain.
