We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
It is my strong belief, that any thought worth saying should be able to be rendered in both prose and poetry. In this post I begin the new month with a favorite and encouraging passage of Scripture that I then rerender in poetic verse afterward. I hope you enjoy this wonderful exercise, which I fully enjoy. :D "This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. "It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. "They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. "The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. "It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord." (Lamentations 3:21-26, AKJV) "How great it is to call to mind, the verity of hope! "The LORD's great mercies are not blind in them we daily cope. "Compassions there in Heart He has, and never will they fail, "They're new each morning and good as His Faithfulness avails. "'The LORD's my portion,' says my soul, and here I hope in Him, "The LORD's so good to make all whole, who wait for rarest Gem. "It is quite good that any man should place his hope in GOD "And soft await Salvation's Plan, the Plan of Christ, The LORD."
