More Bowls to Play!

The second day more bowls to play,
the fans will lift a cheer,
Announcers they have much to say,
most thoughts are fully clear.

We start the day with Cotton Bowl,
two northern teams go south,
To share the Texans western soul,
beware the cottonmouth.

The Rose in Bowl, the middle game
in Ca-li-for-ny-ay,
For USC & Penn State came
to raucous football play.

We'll top the night with Bowl so sweet,
that Sugar is the word,
For there in Naw-lins two teams meet,
great vict'ry will be heard.

When Oklahoma - Auburn play,
the tug-of-war ensues,
"The winner will be..." hard to say,
since I could sing the blues...

In Oklahoma there I'd start
my element'ry days,
But Auburn for my cousin's part,
degrees were her displays.

So, since she's tough I'll wisdom choose
for Auburn's sake to win,
If Oklahoma makes them lose,
I'll never speak it then.

Prepare before and eat your fill
as football starts aloft,
Enjoy your nap or dance your thrill
in tight games or in soft.
