Apocalypse is Here

When at first I heard the sound
Of all the soldiers landing ground
I did not understand our defeat
To me, nothing was quite complete

I heard them yelling and shots fired
I knew right then why I’d been hired
To tell a story of what must be
After the enemy is through with me

Will torture happen, I pray not
But look around at all of the rot
What transpired over those days
When there were no more sun-rays

Did the bomb enter our air
Or is it all just a big scare
Nuclear war has been achieved
All we people have been deceived

Help the young one’s to save a life
Let every man pair with a wife
Create a future by bringing back youth
Teach them always to tell the truth

Lies brought forth this war of nations
Let’s not lose the newest generations
So many young have been deceived
Now in their hearts they will grieve

Man against man, they destroy the land
Women and children both lend a hand
A war to end all wars will come
And you shall lose your freedom

So listen to me as I speak to you of doom
I promise the world will be filled with gloom
I only dreamed of peace on earth
But too many people couldn’t see the worth.
