Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today I wish this birthday thought
to Dad, who ne'er grows old,
His passage into Heaven bought
by One the prophets told.

Dad's earthly life knew many years,
but when was seven-three,
He left this Earth without his fears
for from sin was set free.

One Day I look to see his face
and hear his laughing voice,
For we've been given wondrous Grace
by making Christ our choice.

I miss you, Dad, but nonetheless
sing Happy Birthday to
The man you are, whom GOD does bless
and daily I love you!
