Civics is an area that has always fascinated me. I love the interactions of mankind. I remember when I was first introduced to civics in the fourth grade. Our teacher gave us a book through which we followed the interactions of a family as they left their home in one state and moved to another. They went through some slight culture shock and through their experiences I determined that people were complex creatures indeed. Social studies became one of my favorite subject after that, which may account for why I am fascinated with people yet today.
