Sunday Thoughts on November 27, 2016
Sunday, November 27, 2016

I confused the "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS prompt for November 27 with the one for November 26. I don't know why. It could have been because I was focused on finishing the 50,000 word NaNoWriMo goal. It could have been because I didn't have coffee before starting to answer the prompts. It could have been because I got lost in the vast sphere I'm sailing through or that I hit a time warp. Anyway I'm responding to yesterday's prompt today because I responded to today's prompt yesterday.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for DAY 992
How do you feel about creating themed Christmas trees? Do you feel it's fashionable to follow the different trends? Or do you feel its more important to keep the family traditional tree? What's your favorite ornament on the tree?

I love to see a Christmas tree
all green with dancing lights
it matters not one whit to me
what theme the tree displays
because each individual tree
is a work of art.

The "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS prompt
We sail within a vast sphere, ever drifting in uncertainty, driven from end to end. Blaise Pascal. What are your thoughts on this?

I don't think everybody is "drifting in uncertainty". I believe that during times of stress and social upheaval people lose their compass or guiding star and have to find it again. In the search for their compass or guiding star people may discover that what that they have grown spiritually and that their past belief system no longer satisfies them. Once they make this discovery then they have to find a new compass or guiding principle. When this is accomplished then they are no longer drifting without a destination or guidance.
