To keep my life upon its track
from day to ev'ry day,
The work I do, the rest on back
is needful in each way.

The push of keys to carry thought
may slow or be apace,
But when the story's fully caught
the words and I will race.

So poems, too, are birds aloft
to rise upon the wind,
As kittens with their fur so soft
to bid my digits send.

Some days the subjects about which to write are numerous.
Some days, like today, I need to simply play around with words themselves just to continue the process of writing.

As Thomas Edison brilliantly put it, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."
