Halloween Writing Challenge Prompt 1 Funeral
Prompt: I didn't attend the funeral but I did write a letter saying I approved of it." Mark Twain Write a letter about a fictional character who has died. You can make it serious or funny.

Dear Energizer Bunny Family, Friends and Battery Consultants:

I am so sorry to hear about the Energizer Bunny's death. More then once I wanted to put him in a blender for being so annoying. He did crash into a blender and fell off the counter and his batteries blew up and now he is gone.

All of us at energizer batteries want you to know what a good bunny he was and he made a lot of money for our company. You will be receiving a nice, big check. There are replica stuffed bunnies of him and he won't be forgotten.

Now, we have mechanical clowns that will be representing us our batteries now. We hope the clowns do as well as our bunny friend. I am sorry the bunny annoyed me but I truly never wanted anything bad to happen to him. We decided to go with clowns instead of another bunny. If the clowns get too disturbing, we have remotes to turn them off.

Again, we are sorry for your loss. We are sending you a clown and hope that life will be good for you. We appreciate the bunny and all he did for our company. As this is Halloween, there will be a full moon and oh no! I am being chased by a bunny and a clown. I got to go. A witch just flew down and picked up the clown. I got to go. Happy Halloween!
