Special Tree, Sleepy Hollow
BCOF Prompt: Lyn mentioned a lot of different tree and wants us to write about a special tree in our life.

I like pine trees. I love the smell of them. I love my artificial white tree I use at Christmas. I love decorating it. We have two trees in our yard. I am not sure what they are but they are only six feet tall. Some idiot tee peed our one tree. The trees grow white flowers or pink flowers in the spring. I don't know a lot about trees. Birds and squirrels need trees for home.

I love the smell of pine trees and spruce and I love candle melts with those scents. A story about a tree? I can't think of one. I just hope we don't destroy too many trees and we don't have a tree shortage. We need our trees. They are beautiful and alive. A gift from nature.

Blog City Prompt: Lyn asked us about "Sleepy Hollow" and Ichabod Crane. Did he see the headless horseman and did the headless horseman throw a pumpkin at him? Why did he disappear? What happened to him?

I love Johnny Depp in "The Legend Of Sleeping Hollow." He played a lawyer or doctor if I remember right. As for Ichabod. Maybe he was swallowed by a tree or fell down the rabbit hole and drank tea with the March Hare and the mouse and of course our Mad Hatter played by our Johnny Depp. Maybe Alice gave him a job on her ship and he sailed with her.

Maybe he ended up in Transylvania and married a gypsy woman. Every time he sees a pumpkin, he hides in a gypsy wagon. Better yet, he ended up in Oz and is teaching the Munchkins English and History. He hates that munchkins and pumpkins rhyme. Just a thought.
