Prompt: What have you learned in your teens?

It was easier having your parents support you and take care of you. You had no bills. Just go to school, learn your classes, pass them and love the activities you were in. Your parents were right and smart. Smoking, drinking wasn't cool. It was unnecessary. School wasn't so bad except sitting in classes. I had 6 more credits then I needed when I graduated.

Love isn't a fairy tale. My good friend made a play for the boyfriends I had and wanted. She loved telling me some guy didn't like me. She loved telling me my boyfriend tore up my note when his sister found it. He kept my picture and he carried it for years. We are still friends and he was sorry for what he did. I forgave my friend. She apologized 3 years ago. I hugged her and said it is okay. I forgive her. I had to learn about boys. They didn't play fair. I thought I would find Prince Charming. After a lot of boyfriends over the years, I finally did.

I thought my grandparents would live forever. I was wrong. I wish I was in high school and would have followed Grandma's advice. We can't go back. We go forward.

Prompt: What is the most memorable thing you have received in the mail?

Vintage Barbie Dolls I ordered. My "Twilight" dolls. A Jane Austen tea pot and tea cups from a friend here. Native American Porcelain dolls holding a baby animal.

An autographed book from Melody Thomas. An autographed picture of Lara Parker and one from David Selby. One from Juliet Mills and one from Joshua Ryan Evans of the soap "Passions." Autographed Glen Campbell picture and Fan Club items and authographed pictures of The High Chapparrel gang, The Monkees, Passions Cast, Passions Key Ring and coffee mug.

A nomination. letter from Who's Who. My QMA certificate. Insurance checks.

All the books I have ordered. My Princess Diana Doll, Princess Kate, William, Harry and Pippa Dolls.

Titanic Christmas ornaments, plate and music box of Jack and Rose.

Good test results of health procedures. "Dark Shadows" Books, Elsa Porcelain Statue. Christmas cards from friends, Birthday Cards, postcards, letters from my great grandma, books from my favorite authors who included me in their dedication and copies of the books I had published. My Stress Relief Coloring Books. Letters from my father when he was in Vietnam. Thank you cards. Gifts from my sister.
