My Mother's Poems

Evening Sky

The sun was slowly setting in the western sky
Making way for the ominous black cloud bringing with it the thunder and lightning
As an introduction to the rain and wind that followed
Finally the shower was over.
The rain and the wind went away to another time and place.
While the black cloud made it bow
As it broke up and left only a beautiful rainbow in its place.
The Sun mad a big sigh and lowered itself in the evening sky.
