Power Of Words, Find A Penny
Blog City Prompt: "Words have no power to express to power the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality." Edgar Allan Poe Joy asked if we are impressed or horrified by reality?

If you write horror, crime or mystery, the words can be scary and a harsh reality. If you write fiction, the words shouldn't be scary. Reporting news, this is scary. This is why I like fiction. I try to write words that don't scare me. Words can be hurtful, scary or make life beautiful. Edgar Allan Poe. He likes being scary and so does Stephen King. I will read their works but I won't write like them. Impressed? Horror isn't for me. I like to sleep without thinking of bad thoughts. This prompt is a little scary. Quote the rave: "Never more!" That I do agree with!

BCOF Prompt: Find a penny. Pick it up. All day, you will have good luck. Write a poem or short story about it.

I don't have a story or poem but finding a penny doesn't always bring me good luck. I wish it did. Some days, I have a good day. Other days, everyday is a mess all day long. A penny? Just more bulky change I don't need in my wallet!
