A child like me

They say I’m like a child
Innocent and free
Because I can not think straight
And things aren’t clear to me
I struggle everyday to do the
Things I used to do, but I am
Unable and my life has really changed.
I am filled with love and I like all
Whom I meet, some would even
Describe me as being sweet.
My family, they guard me so people
Will not take advantage of me
And I have a big black Lab,
That would give his life for me.
