It’s been a long time

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you
It’s been too many years
I’ve traveled over many roads and highways
And I brought you along in my heart
The distance that I am from you
Is further than I care to think
For its been to many heartbreaking years
Since I’ve seen you, the way you are
I’ll never forget the way we used to be
Way back then. I miss you and I want to see you
I want us to be like we once were
When the tears did not fill my eyes
when I thought of you constantly
now when I think of you weakness fills my bones
I feel a hundred years old without you
But with you I am young again
My life has new meaning
I love you
Want to see you
Want to touch you again.
Because it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you
And I want to see you again.
