The Wolf Man
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

There she sat, crying and bleeding, she had been attacked by something, but she did not know what.
It got her from behind and bit her and clawed her until she fell to the ground in a heap. She was all alone and knew not what to do. She was unable to move for she was in shock from the attack. She sat there for about twenty minutes until he showed up to save the day. It was a man whom she had seen before, he was a well known TV journalist for the local news station. She recognized him at once.
“You’re Bob Steinberg aren’t you?”
“Yes, are you alright, what happened to you?”
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”
“Yes I would, just tell me, do you want me to call the police?”
“No, there is no need for that, there is nothing they could do, it was not a person that attacked me, it was some sort of wild animal.”
“What kind, do you know?”
“It was like a dog but also like a man!”
“What do you mean, do you mean like a wolfman?”
“Yeah, that is the only way I know to describe it.”
Bob took her by the hand to help her up.
“Are you able to walk?”
“Yeah I think so.”
“What’s your name anyway?”
“Brenda, Brenda Ray, I’m a nurse at Bouvoir Medical Center.”
He helped her to walk and the two of them got in his car and he drove her to the Medical center where she worked for treatment, as she was bleeding badly from her arms and the side of her face. When she arrived at the hospital a friend of hers, another nurse, took her to the examining room and bandaged her. Bob, was curious about what had happened to her so he questioned her further regarding the attack and after telling him everything that happened he left, heading for the park where she had been attacked. He was hoping to get a view of the creature. As he sit in the park waiting for it to show up he was writing the story of what Brenda Ray had told him. As he was finishing the story he caught a glimpse of something in the bushes.
He pretended not to see it, but he got his camera ready to snap photos of the creature as it showed itself.
A woman walked by as he sat there waiting, and as she did, out of the bushes it jumped it pounced on the woman! She screamed and Bob turned to see what was happening he snapped a few pictures of the creature as it attacked the woman. Then he ran towards the creature so he could help to save the woman.
His camera was on a strap around his neck and as he got closer to the creature and the woman he snapped a few more photos. He screamed at the creature to be gone, and it ran into the woods, leaving the woman bleeding on the ground.
“Are you alright?” he asked
“What was that?” the woman cried as her head was bleeding profusely.
“Come on I’ll take you to the hospital.”
He took the woman to the same place where he had taken the nurse, Brenda Ray. She was there and he told her what had happened and that he had it on film. He even caught some video of the attack using his telephone video camera. The attack was filmed and he was going to break the story of the Wolf man that was terrorizing the Center Park near the town. Bob thought to himself the story could be even more exciting if he were to capture the creature. So he went to the hardware store and bought the stuff to create a large cage in which to lure the animal-man into it. He would take some sort of meat and coax the creature into the cage. It seemed as though the thing only wanted female victims, so he would need a woman to also help with the idea. He went to the hospital where Brenda worked and spoke with her about his idea of capturing the thing before it hurt anyone else. She was anxious to rid the park of the dangerous thing as well as she had suffered at its hands.
“What do you need for me to do? Asked Brenda
“You just set up the trap in the park, it will watch you and become curious, perhaps it will show itself and you can get it in the cage if possible.”
The two of them went to the park and she set the trap, sure enough the wolf-man was watching and he lunged for her from behind the bushes. She screamed and Bob was videotaping the whole thing. She yelled for Bob to help her, the creature was about to attack her again. He told her to get it in the cage
And then run. She took some meat and threw it in the cage and the wolf-man followed the meat but at the last minute it looked and saw that Bob was back again filming all that was happening. The wolf looked at Brenda and then back to Bob and it turned and ran towards Bob and jumped on him and began biting and clawing him, Brenda took the video camera …
“This is what you wanted an attack on film, now you have it, I’ll see to it your television station gets the footage of their star reporter being mauled by a wolf man.”
Bob was drug off by the animal following the attack and Brenda sold the footage to the station, which played it non stop on there news program.
