Lifted to Heaven

You lift me up to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds
You make each day a delight you are pure and filled with light
I love you more than mere words could say
You are the sunshine in the sky the dew on the petals of a rose
You make me happy you lift me high
You make me see that there is nothing new under the stars
Only what God has made from the beginning

You lift me up to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds
You are the angel that flutters from Heaven to guide me
You pick me up from off the ground and lift me.
Yes you lift me higher than I’ve ever been
You make life seem so complete
For the Lord has made us for each other
And I love you more than words could say

You lift me up to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds
You are the velvet touch of the can of someone pure
You are my everything, you complete me and make me whole
You are my everything, you don’t judge you only
Lift me up to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds
Even on the rainiest of days you are there to shine a light

Because you lift me up to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds
And I love you more than words can say
And what God made, shall no man destroy.
Your soul will last an eternity the spirit rises high
I’ve been lifted to Heaven and I can see you through the clouds.
