June Light In February 4
Today I shake off my sorrows and remember that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has come to alleviate all my woes. And so I pray for my friends, neighbors and community:
(20)Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more;
the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and your days of sorrow will end.
(21) Then all your people will be righteous
and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
the work of my hands,
for the display of my splendor. (Isaiah 60:20-21)
He is the Light which I daily celebrate. God, the Father of all creation, the author and finisher of all faith - He is my antidote for grief and my deliverer from the fears that I will never be enough in this life. The work of my day is finding more ways to worship Him.
Thank You my Lord Jesus, for You have revealed to the world, God the Father's love, compassion and light.
