this is a collection of works I am doing in 2016. |
142 words 25 lines Writing Poetry By Lisa Noe ![]() Sometimes I have no more emotion in me but then it will sneak out when I least expect it a word here a phrase there before you know it a sentence emerges. I am wanting to write the great American Novel But the thoughts eludes me I am but a poor poet Typing miniature thoughts endlessly onto a screen And hoping that people can make of it sense. Hoping each work will be better than the last But knowing in my heart that it will not be I dot my I’s and cross my T’s without thought Of what I might have overlooked, to edit is a breeze. Oh to write a story of warmth and laughter A story all could seize Ah tis a dream for I shall keep here writing Little poems of insignificant perception. |
