Blue
Blue is the colour;
It darkens my door.

Like a wave it comes,
Heaving,
It drenches me.

The blue seeps from my pores.
It turns to icicles
In the frosty air.
It is tears
In the dead of night,
Saturates my dreams.

That blue dog,
He is at my door.

His eyes are empty,
Vacant,
He turns on me.

Inside,
The lights are only blue,
It is all I own.
I will ride my blue horses
To the lake

And watch them disappear.
