Creative Writing, Weather and Moods
BCOF Prompt: How do you stay creative with your writing?

I look for prompts, read books and read old stuff that I have written. At Halloween and Christmas, I try to write items about these holidays. I research Jane Austen on the internet since I write about her the most anymore or stories based on her writing. I never know when an idea will hit me. It may be something I watch on TV or hear people talk about things that gives me an idea. When my muse hits me, I just write.

Blog City Prompt: Do you agree that the weather alters a person's mood? Does the weather affect your mood?

Yes! I work in mental health and the people I take care of are more depressed if it's snowing and it is too cold for them to go outside and smoke. If it's snowing and I have to go to work, I pace and get upset worrying about driving to work. If it's really bad, I stay home. When it rains, I don't mind. I like the rain. If it's sunny, I am okay with that. If there is a crisis, my mood will be a bad one rather it rains, snows or is sunny. Like Karen Carpenter's Rainy Days and Monday Always Get Me Down. With me it's snowy days and working weekends. Sunshine Suzy and winter blues when there's snow. If I have no where to go, I am okay with snow. If the weather spoils your plans, your mood will change.
