A New Home For Bubba

One time there was a little Pug, his name was Bubba, and he liked to run and play
In the neighborhood in which he lived. Bubba was unhappy for the home he lived in
Was not a very nice place to be. His owner ignored him, and she cared very little
For him. Next door lived a man and his wife; they longed to have children but couldn’t
The neighbors saw Bubba outside in the rain, they felt sorry for the poor little pooch and
Brought him in to their home and dried him off and fed him some vanilla wafers. The
Pup was starved, but not for food, he wanted love, and they were all to eager to give him all the
Love that the little fella could stand. This became a habit, nearly every day as the John came
Home from work the little Pug would be lying on the porch of his house and he would watch as
The car pulled on to the driveway and he would shoot off his porch and over to the neighbor’s
House to receive his daily vanilla wafer and a whole bunch of loving from John and his wife.
It soon became clear that the couple were very much in love with the little dog, Bubba.
Bubba’s owner however, became jealous and tried to keep the little Pug from going next door.
She would punish the little pooch if he ventured into the neighbor’s yard. But Bubba didn’t mind
Being punished by the old woman, if he could just see John and his wife for a few moments.
The old woman began fussing and yelling,

“everyone is trying to still my dog!” She was reassured by the neighbors That they were only trying
to be kind to the little fella, because he was so friendly toward them.

“I’ll get a new dog, one that is even smaller and cuter than that one, I’ll show you!”
The old woman was upset because her dog liked John and his wife better than it like her. It is only
Because the old woman didn’t know how to properly care for the pet. She didn’t feed it properly and
She certainly didn’t show it enough affection. Dogs need a lot of love and attention, They have a lot of
Energy and need to have a good place to run and play, there is a lot of work in having a pet, but it is well
Worth it.

One day the old woman died and left the dog on it’s own the neighbors saw that poor little Bubba was left
Orphaned and they felt terrible for him. John went next door to the old woman’s house where
On the porch was Bubba’s doghouse, he got the doghouse and brought it to his home and set it up in the front yard. Bubba went over and looked on the old woman’s front porch where the house had been and then looked in the front yard and went running and got in his house. He now had a new home and the couple brought him in the house gave him a vanilla wafer and bathed him, they became a family.
Bubba had all the love and attention he had always craved.
