13 Days of Halloween Challenge Day 4
Prompt: Write a poem about craving a pumpkin.
Orange and white pumpkins on the porch.
A carving tool in my hand, poised and ready.
I cut out the eyes and triangles look at me.
A wide smile with teeth I have carved. I smile.
Let's try the white pumpkin. He looks albino.
I take more time with this one. I can do this.
The eyes seem more friendly and make me relax.
I love the smile I did on this one. It is warm.
What a mess! Pumpkin guts are all over and seeds.
I didn't cut myself. I just need to clean up the mess.
Can you believe I did six of these all by myself?
I cleaned up the mess. This stuff really has a stench.
I put a white one by the swing and two by the scarecrow.
My kitty cuddles up to an orange one. I have to get my camera.
I take a cute picture of my tortoise shell cat and pumpkin.
I take more pictures. I will be scrapbooking my masterpieces!
