         The Minions speak a "conlang", a constructed language that resembles gibberish, but is in reality a medley of languages spiced with some onomatopoeia or words that sound like their meaning.

          Me pad-pad at the agua closet. Mes amis Minions, beaucoup Minions, hem and haw in a looong ligne. Hey-ho , jibber jabber. Ca va?Me brosse mine teeth. Comme ci, comme ca, me muddlez the brosses; blech,blech, aagghh. Spitoo, spitoo, agua. Gurgle, gurgle, burpee; excusez. Bahahaha!!

          Splishy-splashy. Oo-ow; soapa mine peepers! Whoopsy; floor slippy-tipsy.Snapa-flapa toweletta. Bahahaha!

          Me want banana! Me want banana! Rumbley, grumbley. Mes Minions poussez and arguez; slippy-slap, slippy-slap. Non, non, mine banana! Ou manga tous dis bananes? No, no say? Papaya? Orange? Papples? Burpee!! Excusez. Bahahaha!!
