Breast cancer Letter for Susan G koman-- for the cure

Dear Breast Cancer;

You have changed the world one woman at a time, you think you will win the fight but we women have come together as a group called Susan G. Komen—for the cure, and we will beat you. Our doctors and scientists are working harder than ever and making tremendous strides in their search for the cure for breast cancer. You knocked on my door and I recall how frightened I was but I went and had a mammogram and luckily for me the lumps that we found were just cysts, which many women have. But I will never forget the time waiting for the results of that test how devastated I felt and how alone I felt in this world, even though I have the most supportive family. I was able to walk away from you, but many are not so lucky; they are ravaged by you, they are completely destroyed but they learn in fighting you how to be strong. So many have overcome your destruction and march with pink bows on their lapels and hope in their hearts. Scarves don the heads of these strong souls, they have faced much because you are cruel and cold. They are not bitter women they are strong and will stand up against you during the toughest times.
