Day 21 Mammoth Springs Hotel Not Open

Prompt: Oops, I should have warned you there is a hotel in Mammoth Springs but it is not open at this time of year. It is only open during the winter months December through March. Sorry no hot shower yet after that long bike ride to get here. We are only here for lunch so make sure if you are taking pictures of the ever changing Mammoth Terraces. We will be picked up by bus at 3:00 PM and taken to Roosevelt Lodge. Yes, you will be staying at the famous lodge for three days....hot showers, cooked food by someone else and a real bed.

Does anyone know who Roosevelt is and what his contributions to Yellowstone were?

Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States and spent time at Yellowstone. The Teddy Bear is named in his honor and I don't want to talk about the reason why. He passed an act to protect the areas of Yellowstone and the wildlife. I do admire him for that much. ~Minja~ says his ghost hunts the place. Guess I will be ghost hunting tonight.

Best costume? I don't know. I will let others choose.
