A Behaved Mind, Watermelon
Blog City: "A writer is someone who has taught his mind how to behave." Oscar Wilde

Joy asked how do we get our minds to behave.

My mind behaving! My mind has all sorts of ideas and I am not sure which direction to go. I go with the flow. Horror writers and those who write Criminal Minds episodes, their minds are warped. I am not sure what point Oscar was trying to make. We write and depends on what we write, no way do minds behave. Writing relieves stress and we express ourselves. Sorry, Oscar. Writing sets me free and I am not behaving!

BCOF Prompt: Snow asked us to write about watermelon. A poem, story or recipe.

I don't like watermelon. My father eats it and feeds the watermelon rhines to the neighbor's pigs. I like watermelon candy. I like the smell of it. I love the song by Tom T. Hall about old dogs and watermelon wine. Maybe watermelon wine would taste good. Just a thought.
