“the best”
It takes three qualities to be “the best”:
1. A sense of purpose
2. Self-Awareness
3. Discipline
Life becomes meaningful only when a person is driven by a high goal that is guiding you.
A sense of purpose provides the undying passion and steadfast commitment to do what you need to do. It gives you worthy goals to strive for.
A goal that guides your actions.

When in the car, the GPS or a map provides a sense of direction.
The equivalent of the GPS in our life is self-awareness.

Many times due to lack of self-awareness, we head east when we should be really heading west according to our goals.

All action done when lacking skill, lacking knowledge or under the influence of negative emotions can be classified as lack of self-awareness.

Due to lack of self-awareness, we self-sabotage the materialization of our own goals.
Self-awareness also provides input to selecting your life purpose (point 1), as a person with self-awareness selects goals that are in alignment with who he really his (passion, skills, and innate talents etc).

Discipline is the act of cultivating habits that are in alignment with your higher goal/purpose,
so that even when there is temptation to go off-track, you stay steadfast and keep progressing on the goal you have set for yourself.
