Moon Day, My Feelings

Prompt: July 20 is Moon Day. Man landed on the moon July 20, 1969.It was a step for mankind. Snow asked what our thoughts were about this day.

I was 13. I wasn't in favor of space travel but landing on the moon was a big deal. I love the moon. It is beautiful. A man on the moon. It was interesting watching videos on TV. I know it took a lot of planning, time and patience and we see men on the moon. It was cool. I have no desire to go but I love looking at it. What bothers me is all that equipment they left up there. Did we leave it for moon men or space alien creatures? The moon doesn't need that space crap up there but I can't go get it. Anyway, history was made. It was a good achievement. I am glad I got to see it on TV. It was a good moment.
