My thoughts released; a mind set free |
Not much time again today, and I have to watch it closer than yesterday. Yesterday I stopped in to write a short entry, since I have not been very active anyplace except for work, and I ran over my borrowed time. So, not only did I not get some of my other tasks done -- I wanted to catch up on dishes so my lovely wife wouldn't have to do them when she got home -- I was also a few minutes late for work. So, today I did things a bit different. Of course, everything went a little different today. The morning guard who has not been able to get to work in the mornings actually made it in to work this morning, and only a few minutes late; there just may be hope yet. So, Rhonda didn't have to go in and open this morning, which I had already decided I would so she could get a little more sleep. But, as it turned out, he clocked in this morning, and as soon as it was verified, both Rhonda and I went back to bed, turning five hours of sleep into seven. Then, I drove Rhonda in to work, came home and got a little bit of my off site, off the clock work done; I should be about caught up again. Then, it was a little text conversation with Rhonda, while I worked on them dishes. It was such a messed up day yesterday that Rhonda barely got any of them done after she finally got home. So, it all worked out fine, once everyone got to work their own shifts for a change. I also got a shave and a shower in, then checked in to Facebook, gave out a few likes, and then ditched the site before I spent too many of my too few minutes in there. Next, it was time to log in here and write in my journal. I have about a half hour I could spend in here, but then I would be rushing around trying to get ready, get the dogs out, and likely be running late again. So, I will clip this entry short, get ready and then take the dogs out while I relax a little. Then, I should have a relaxing drive into work, and I'll also get done an hour sooner tonight. Best of all, Rhonda opens tomorrow, so no surprises, and she doesn't have to go in until eight. That means we get a full nights sleep. If that wasn't enough, tomorrow is my short night, so I not only work a half shift, but I get done and should be out of there by eight thirty. Now, time to go get dressed up in my work cloths, take the dogs out and let them get some fresh air and then it's off to work... |
