Definitions of French terms deja connu = "already known" jamais vu = "never seen" deja vu = "already seen" I have counted the ways that I loved you over and over again. At journey's end the secluded walls, The silent terror when darkness falls, The water's song reviving spirit. Istiqlal (Independence), 13 Aẓamat (Grandeur), 172 BE - Friday, May 29, 2015 Why I Write: I write to become. To discover my true self. To find out why I am here. To discover who I am. To find out my destiny. The Old Refrigerator: When I way very young, maybe 5 or 6 (perhaps a bit younger), I shut myself in an old refrigerator. We went to visit my cousins who lived on a farm The had gotten a new refrigerator and the old one was setting on the back porch. The adults set in the kitchen drinking coffee and talking. We children went outside to play. We were playing hide-and-seek, I decided the refrigerator was a good place to hide. Grandpa found me. Divine Intervention: A child's laughter. Getting a doctor's appointment the same day you call. Chocolate Hole in one the first time you play golf. Multicolored rose opening at dawn. |
