Heartbreak

Prompt: In his book titled "Consolations", David Wyhtes says: "Heartbreak is how we mature." What does heartbreak mean to you?" Do you agree that heartbreak is necessary for us to mature?

Heartbreak was always about boys and men when I was younger and friends who were untrue. When you got your heart broke, your world fell apart and you thought there was nothing else in life left that was good. I am glad I was wrong. I had some loser boyfriends. They weren't worth it. I am glad there was life after them. I would had a miserable life if I would have married one of them. I matured a lot. I learned what good guys were and what bad guys were. Bad guys bring you down and you could end up in jail. I didn't luckily. We have responsibility in life and we need to be honest, caring, religious, have good scruples and do the right thing. This all ties in to being mature. I guess past heartbreaks helped me mature. I lived through them but don't want anymore of them.
