Prompt: What things in life take too long?

Tough times take too long to be over. Everything changes with time, but it is those things you want to be done with, that feel like they drag on endlessly. The good stuff is over quickly... to quickly.

When we are children time creeps along, particularly when we want to be older, but when we are older time rushes past in a blur. It is all relative, I suppose, as time itself does not stretch or contract; only our perception of it does.

Time flies when we are having fun, yet it drags when we are experiencing the dullest of times. March Break is almost over... a blur really but next week will drag, I am almost positive.
