Books That Changed My Life Outlook
Prompt: Has a book ever changed your life outlook? Why do you think it had such a sudden impact?

Working in mental health, I bought a book: "Diagnosis Made Easy." I read this and keep it as a reference to help me understand the people I take care of. It has helped but I still can't tell one diagnosis from the other. What I read was interesting and gave me an insight to what the mentally ill people I take care of go through. This book helps with my job.

Books about Princess Diana. She was a Princess but it wasn't a Cinderella ending for her. Being a Princess doesn't mean forever happiness. I felt sorry for her.

"Go Ask Alice." A young girl who became a drug addict and didn't want to be and she tried to quit and did. She died of a drug over dose in the end and I hung out with some bad people for a couple of years and I am glad I didn't end up like Alice. Alice has been on my mind since high school. I read the book and watched the movie. This touched me.

I read paranormal romance, historical romance and I feel safer. Good for my imagination.
