CUDDLE CAFE??
Once again, MSN has provoked me with a news item. Apparently, in England, one can patronize a cuddle café. People are encouraged to come in for a cuppa and a cuddle. I don't pretend to understand everyone, but is this really necessary?? I prefer my tea hot and I cannot imagine juggling a cup AND snuggling/canoodling with a willing participant. One or both of us would be scalded and I have some sensitive anatomy. I also like my cuddling to be given and received in private. Overt public displays of affection are not my style. When I'm out and about, I prefer to people watch. I connect with my fellow humans via spontaneous conversations not physical touch.
