Arby's: Never Again
I got a lesson in customer service from Arby's last night. I thought I would stop by for a late night snack but instead got schooled in how not to win friends and influence people.
I rolled up to the menu board and am greeted by turbo-tongue woman telling me the deal of the day and would I like to place my order. The only word I understood was fish, and I did not want fish. She wanted to know what my order was and put me on hold. I figure, well, I can at least scan the menu board and ask my question when she came back to me.
In rolls a male voice asking me what my order is, please hold.
Excuse me? Two offers to take my order but someone else's order is more important than me? No. Since there was room, I pulled out of line. They can keep their fish. They can keep their roast beef. And they can believe me when I say -- Never again.
