30 Day Blogging Challenge – Twofer Tuesday

Two-fer Tuesdays: Share an item or blog entry from any of the eligible competitors this month. Include a review link for bonus points.

I admit I have continued to be negligent when it comes to reading or commenting on other people's blogs. Some I have read, but not commented. If I don't have a lot of time I dip in to read a few - generally I will read Fran πŸŒˆπŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ Author IconMail Icon and Charlie ~ Author IconMail Icon. If I have more time I get to nfdarby. There are some very good bloggers and I know I need to give them my time... I often enjoy checking to see what they have written on the blog prompts. The responses to the 20th century inventions was quite good. A bit of lively conversation - and ** running away** happened when Charlie ~ Author IconMail Icon chose the radio and Fran πŸŒˆπŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ Author IconMail Icon pointed out that was a communication devise. I had some good smiles and chuckles over that.

I have enjoyed reading the blog of untamedwriter. A new member of our wonderful 30 Day Blogger group, he has a no nonsense style that leaves me with a smile and a chuckle. I had a good laugh over him picking my blog last week - "nothing like the lost reviewing the lost". I enjoyed his comment regarding dealing with colds and flu - "to medicate myself so I just don't care anymore." Yep, I would have to agree. I also had a good chuckle over the picture he posted in "Invalid EntryOpen in new Window. - a fabulous beard that made him look like a take no guff Santa. Rapper Santa. It reminds me of the blogs we did last year when we wrote what we thought everyone looked like. untamedwriter has joined our ranks and is warmly welcomed.

Here is my review - Invalid Review

I hope to make a bit more time to read, comment and remember what captured my interest....

Blog City – Day 315

Prompt: Can some fiction, TV shows, and movies make us question the reality and life, by expanding our thinking?

I think these things can change us. I am reading 50 Shades of Grey - a book I have avoided for various reasons. With the movie coming out, my curiosity got the better of me. I am feeling like it could change me... not that I have not read stories like this before, but I can't put my finger on it. It is like a guilty pleasure that is warped in some way - I don't want it interfering with my own writing style.

Border for my personal use.

Welcome To My Reality - Week Fifty - Six

2. Who is your favourite villain?

Villain... Voldemort. That is the first one that comes to mind. Moriarty also ripples with contemptuousness.
Villain. Vile. Vain. Very Volatile. Volcanic. Venomous.

Vainglorious – vain; boastful. People who are vainglorious like to talk about themselves and their accomplishments.
Vaporous – giving off a vapor (i.e. fog, smog, cloudy). When you wake up early on a winter’s morning it might be vapourous outside.
Venomous – poisonous (i.e. certain snakes). Spiteful; malicious. There are two common definitions for venomous. The first you can use to describe a physical trait and the second a personality trait. Both are quite negative.
Vexatious – annoying. A younger sibling can be sometimes be vexatious to their older brothers and sisters.
Vicious – malicious; harmful. Similar to the adjective venomous to be vicious is to be mean/spiteful.
Villainous – bad; evil. We often use this adjective when describing the villain in a story or movie.
Vociferous – tendency to be loud (especially when giving one’s opinion). To be called vociferous is not generally a positive thing, as it suggests that you are too loud.

I am getting tired so I just went with vilified V words.
