30 Day Blogging Challenge – Wildcard Monday

Wildcard Monday! When you come down with a cold or the flu, do you stick to traditional remedies, or do you have an unconventional method if treating/healing?

I stick with my tired and try methods - oil of oregano under the tongue and Cold Assist capsules. I guess that could be unconventional in a way but it really kicks the cold in the butt. I also take effervescent Vitamin C tabs in water and drink lots of water.

If I get too bad I will resort to Nyquil and Cold and Sinus medication.

Lots of sleep and rest.

I have also been known to use a Neti pot - which runs warm salty water through your sinuses.
