Obscure Benefit of NaNoWriMo
This New Year's Day is a bit surreal. All I wanted to do was go to my friend's house and play. The hubby did not want to go. He had the sniffles and needed to sleep. After a few hours, my friends insisted that I go home and take care of my husband. I no longer question quiet urgings. I consider them a blessing from God and all I have to do is honor those urgings.

When I got home, he was on the floor in the bathroom waiting for help. (MS and partially wheelchair dependent). So my accomplishment to start out the year was to discover that I am stronger than I considered myself to be. As part of my NaNo, I researched a military/fireman's carry, so I knew how to get him off the ground, turned around and -- if I had to --would have been able to carry him to somewhere.

If you are strong, be thankful you can be a blessing for someone.

If you are not strong, be thankful that you have people in your life willing and able to assist you.
