Pemberly Or Downton Abbey?

Would you rather live at Pemberly or Downton Abbey?

I am a big Jane Austen Fan, Downton Abbey Fan and this is a hard choice. Pemberly is fictional but I love how it is displayed in movies and books. I could handle living at this vast estate with Mr. Darcy and living in luxury. Riding around in horse drawn carriages would be nice. If Jane's Pemberly was real, it would be nice to live out this fantasy. I think we all wish we had more in life. Darcy being the perfect man, Pemberly would be the perfect house. I have a thing for England even though I have never been there. I read enough in books and watch TV to know I would love it there. I admire mansions.

Downton Abbey. I love watching the show, their life style and the glamour. It would take days to go see all the rooms and I would probably get lost. I love all the family, servants, and I could live there. The scenery is beautiful and this castle really exists. I would love to be a lady of leisure. I see myself as Lady Mary Crawley. I guess TV and books feed our imaginations. Maybe I would have to live at Pemberly or Downton Abbey and then decide. We can always dream.
