Why Do You Write?
Prompt: Lyn asks us why we write. Do we write more or less then we used to? Which author best describes our writing?

I feel a story building in my mind and have to write about it. Like a Jane Austen sequel, a story about a Teddy Bear, a poem, Blog entries, a vampire/paranormal story sometimes or I see a picture or image and my mind runs wild. I have a craving, a need and it is my passion. Maybe a Princess muse or a pirate muse enters my mind. I just write. As for Blogging, I need to let others know about me. The woman behind the stories. So, I write. I love writing. I feel my life isn't complete unless I am writing. I wrote a lot of Native American stories but my Cherokee Great Grandmother who died hasn't been around in awhile. I breathe and think writing. It is a big part of me and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Which author describes my writing? Probably Jane Austen since I write stories with her in mind lately. I thrive on romance. I read everything Jane Austen and have a Jane Austen Group here. She is my muse lately. I write because like Jane, I have stories to tell and people in my mind that I want you to meet. I love them. Reality sucks. In writing fiction, I choose my characters, stories and happy endings. So, care to read my fictional stories and my real life ones as well ? I hope you will.
