What Makes A Good Story Teller
Today's prompt was about hostage situations and I don't do well with those so I am choosing another topic.

Prompt: What makes a good story teller?

I go by the topic. Like Medieval times, paranormal romance, a modern romance, a Jane Austen type romance, a story about angels or like watching "The Young and the Restless." These type of stories get my attention. I also like a good ghost story or an animal story with an happy ending. A writer or story teller who writes these stories or tells them, well I am all ears. I like romance, a little hint of spooky, pirates, gypsies, mythology creatures or time travel. Anyone who can hold my interest with these topics and makes me feel like I am there, to me, that person is a good storyteller or writer.

My grandpa used to tell stories about seeing wolves in Indiana but they never hurt anyone. Wolves are misunderstood. My Great Grandma said John Dillinger had a cabin near by her house that he would escape to and he would wave to them as he drove by. I enjoy these true stories, too but I am more a fantasy type person. A good storyteller can talk about anything and get your attention. I admire them.
