I previously wrote about the book that took the longest to read that turned out to be a bad idea because it never-ending torturous foray into how many times the author could use the word purloined. Reading books just because i started them seems to be a pattern. I read another book called Magdelana or something like that because I started it. My mom was so mad. Told me to quit reading it. I told her that if my sister could read Choir Boys and it was okay (and she was 3 years younger) then what was wrong with me reading this? The book was stupid and I was too young to understand what was going on most of the time, but I finished it anyway out of defiance. Your turn, any rebel stand where a book was concerned?
